Project Description
This kitchen was made with aged poplar and sealed with linseed oil to restore the natural ‘straw’ colour and enhance the nuances of the wood. A sliding door was used for the wall mounted dish drainer. In addition, to obtain a 1930s feel, an absolute black finish was used for the base, in the frame of the ‘hat’ and in the lining of the hood tube. The top and the basin of the sink, made of yellow travertine, enhance the retro effect.
